Recommended Practice for Pass-Thru Vehicle Programming
Defines a standardised API for vehicle ECU reprogramming through a generic pass-through device. Enables independent workshops to perform flash programming without OEM-proprietary tools. Mandated by US Right-to-Repair regulations.
