Image parameter values for high dynamic range television
ITU-R recommendation defining HDR television parameters. Specifies two transfer functions: PQ (Perceptual Quantizer, SMPTE ST 2084) and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma). Enables peak luminance up to 10,000 cd/m² for HDR broadcast and streaming.
